Synthetic gelling agents, thickeners and plasticizers are petrochemical substances commonly used for maintaining the gel-like consistency of a cleaning product. ETL No.9 do not contain any artificial thickeners or stabilizers and only use coconut oil derived surfactants for adjusting the viscosity of liquid in the product. Depending on the weather conditions and the season it was harvested, coconut oil derived surfactants tend to have a lower viscosity between May to November and a higher viscosity between December to April. Plant-based oils tend to solidify during cold weather and change from a solid to a liquid state during hot weather. However the efficacy of our products remains the same and is unaffected by the weather conditions.
