Global Happiness Alliance
The idea of ‘Global Happiness Alliance’ was conceived through inspiration from Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness (an index which is used to measure the collective happiness and well-being of a population). Global Happiness Alliance (GHA) is a non-profit organisation established by a group of key practitioners in (7+1) sectors ranging from arts & culture, environmental protection, healthcare & epidemic prevention, agriculture, information technology, sustainable energy, civil society, and government.
Global Happiness Alliance is headquartered in Bhutan. Through thematic workshops and forums, GHA aims to engage policymakers, civil society organisations, religious leaders, and relevant stakeholders from around the world in philosophical discourse, cultural exchanges, education, and dialogue to share inspirations and practices that advance global happiness, and address urgent environmental and ethical challenges faced by the world today.
Our aim is to encourage the participants to implement these collective ideas in their own communities, thereby spreading happiness around the world.
